TACTILE UI

Collection 01 · Eight objects · MMXXVI

Software that behaves like hardware.

Interfaces for Interfaces for agent consoles, deploy dashboards, uptime pages, energy monitors, device apps and trading desks.

For software that runs something and has to show its state. Objects with real physics, finished sections and a UI kit, in one language: lamps that mean one thing, keys that latch, numbers that roll. Play with every one here, free. A Pass gets you the source, the prompts and a licence to ship them.

02 — The objects

Every object on this page is running.

Not a recording. Touch them, drag them, press them. Each one sleeps when you leave it, so a page full of them costs nothing at rest.

    03 — The kit

And the parts to build the rest.

The Tactile UI Kit: keys, switches, knobs, faders, fields, displays, meters, tables and dialogs in Tactile Modernism — aluminium or graphite, no brand colour, only lamps. With a dashboard and a website built from it, and a brain of rules an agent reads before it builds. This site is drawn with it.

    04 — Datasheet

    Specified like instruments.

Every figure here is measured from the source on this server, not typed in: the bytes you ship, the tests that hold each object to its behaviour, the states it is designed for.

      07 — Questions

      Before you buy.

      What exactly do I get?

For every object: its complete source (one ES module and one stylesheet), a runnable example at any settings you choose, two prompts — one to reproduce it, one to remix the technique — and a deterministic package with a checksum for every file. Plus every object added later.

Will it work with React, Vue, Svelte or Astro?

Yes. Each object is a plain class: new Object(element, options), update(options), destroy(). Hand it an element from a ref or an effect and clean up on unmount. There are no framework wrappers yet, and no dependencies to fight with.

      Is the UI kit included?

With the Founder Pass, yes: the objects, the blocks and the Tactile UI Kit — its parts, the dashboard and website templates, and its brain of rules for AI tools — plus everything added to any of them later. After the founder seats are gone, the Pass covers the objects and blocks, and the kit is sold on its own.

Does it work with Claude, Cursor and other AI tools?

That is what the prompts and the brain are for. Every object and block ships a prompt to reproduce it and one to remix the technique. The kit ships rules, one file per part, a build skill, a review skill and a verify script, so an agent builds in the system instead of guessing at it.

      Light or dark?

Both. Everything comes in two finishes — aluminium and graphite — and follows the visitor’s system setting until they choose. This site does the same: try the finish key at the top.

      What does “founder” mean?

The first hundred Passes are $89. After that the same Pass is $150. The counter above is the real number of founder seats sold.

Which currency will I pay in?

Prices are set in US dollars. Checkout runs on Stripe, which shows and charges your own currency and handles VAT and sales tax as the seller of record. The local figure on this page is an estimate from the day’s reference rates; the checkout amount is the one charged.

Can I use the objects in client work?

Yes — in unlimited personal and client projects, for as long as you like. What you can’t do is resell the objects themselves, as a kit, a library or a template. The licence says it in full.

      Can I get a refund?

Yes — a full refund within 14 days of buying, as long as no package has been downloaded with your account. Write to the address in the licence.

      Are they accessible?

Each object is designed for keyboard, touch and reduced motion, and each page shows those states running rather than promising them. Controls carry real roles and values; decorative surfaces carry a text alternative.
