  1. Iris Object · A lens’s iris diaphragm, as a reveal. Curved blades pivot on their pins, close to a pinhole and open onto what lies beneath, the engraved f-stop ring turning with them.
  2. Portfolio Iris Block · A photographer’s index where every frame is a shutter. Photographs peek through graphite blades, open whole on hover or focus, and shut where they stand when a filter leaves them out.
  3. Reeded Glass Object · A pane of fluted glass on rails. Each reed is a lens that magnifies what is behind and smears it softly sideways, sharp top to bottom, so a word reads from across the room. Slide it aside by its pull and the content is there.
